As we have previously mentioned, Tim Houseberg, Commissioner of Insurance, and Charlie Cheek, Registrar, will represent The Tribal Domicile at Agent Summit 2014 on March 10 - 12 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Assurant Agrees to Cede to ARCs within The Tribal Domicile

On February 10, 2014, Mike Anderson, COO of Assurant, wrote a letter to Tim Houseberg, Insurance Commissioner of The Tribal Domicile, expressing Assurant’s comfort with ceding to Allied Reinsurance Companies established within The Tribal Domicile.

“We have reviewed the legal materials you provided, and subject to the same criteria we observe for reinsurance to other traditional domiciles, we are comfortable ceding to Allied Reinsurance Companies established within The Tribal Domicile,” Mike wrote.
