About The Tribal Domicile

The Tribal Domicile is the first viable, economically-feasible domestic alternative to traditional offshore domiciles for reinsurers owned by vehicle dealers, agents, and other specialized producers, such as rent-to-own stores. We refer to them as Allied Reinsurance Companies (ARCs).

An ARC domiciled in The Tribal Domicile is considered a domestic insurance company for U.S. federal income tax purposes. There is no need to file a §953(d) election. By domiciling your existing or new reinsurance company in The Tribal Domicile, you would not have had to address concerns about FATCA. You would not have to participate in the BE-10 Benchmark Survey. You will not have to worry when another government entity expands its reporting requirements for any person or company with foreign affiliates.

The Tribal Domicile to Attend Agent Summit 2015 in Las Vegas on March 2 - 4

Tim Houseberg, Commissioner of Insurance, will represent The Tribal Domicile at Agent Summit 2015, being held on March 2 - 4 at the Venetian / Palazzo Resort & Sands Expo.

Organizers of the annual Agent Summit have announced that the Participation & Reinsurance Symposium will return for a third year in 2015. “Reinsurance education remains in high demand among general agents,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Agent Entrepreneur and F&I and Showroom. “The Reinsurance Symposium is unique in that it delivers that education and puts agents in direct contact with the executives and thought leaders who drive the segment.”

This year’s Reinsurance Symposium does not address alternatives to controlled or non-controlled "foreign corporations.” The Tribal Domicile is an affordable domestic alternative. No §953(d) election is necessary as you do not own a foreign corporation. You have direct and easy access to regulators and administrators; establishing bank accounts is easy; there is one “all-in” fee for domestication, formation, or renewal; electronic forms and applications are available, and the turnaround time is fast.

Stop by and see us during this year's Reinsurance Symposium on Monday, March 2nd from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the reinsurance table tops during the Symposium. The Tribal Domicile is also a general sponsor for Agent Summit and will be available in the Agent Summit 2015 Expo, booth 211, next to the bar. Stop by to visit and receive a 2013 Delaware Tribe Treaty $1 U.S. Coin. Mr. Houseberg is available for meetings Monday 8:00 a.m. through Tuesday 1:00 p.m.
